#PalestinianLivesMatter

The USA-Palestine Mental Health Network stands in solidarity with the people of Palestine in their struggle for justice and human rights.   The ongoing colonialist warfare against the indigenous Palestinian people, while escalated in the present moment, has been endured for over 70 years.

Israel’s bulldozing of Palestinian homes, displacement of Palestinian residents of Sheik Jarrah in East Jerusalem and the attack of Palestinian worshipers at Al Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan is in violation of International Law.

International law recognizes blockade as an act of war.  Gaza has been under siege and blockade for 14 long years and struggles to manage the Covid pandemic while being denied access to the vaccine, and now faces air strikes by the fourth largest and most powerful army in the world.  Israel’s bombing of the besieged and vulnerable population of Gaza is not only disproportionate, it is criminal.

Palestinians also have a right to defend themselves.
